I was born and raised in Hanover, PA. At the age of 5, on Christmas Eve 1972, at a Christmas Cantata, I realized that I was a sinner and needed a Savior. I realized that God sent His son to die on the cross for my sins. That night I accepted Jesus as my personal Savior, and I know I am on my way to heaven.
I received an Associated degree for York College of Pennsylvania in Computer Science in 1986. In 1989, I felt the call to go to Pensacola Christian College to be a preacher. Because I was very shy, I ran from that calling and went and finished my Bachelor degree in Computer Science. In 1999 I surrendered to preach and was ordained to the preaching ministry in February 2000. After serving churches in the Pensacola area, God called me and my family in July of 2012 to Turnpike Baptist Church in Shrewsbury, PA where I now serve as senior pastor.
My wife, Karen, and I were married in July 2006 and have two married children, Kyle (and Kayla) and Seth (and Amey). We proudly wear the title, Nana and Papa to two grandbabies. We love and care for our church family and would love to have you come and be our guest.
